About Ok Design and project
OK Design is a small Danish-design furniture business founded in 2008 by the couple Kirsten Krogh and Jacob Fasting. After two years as owners in a bicycle delivery company in Mexico City, the entrepreneur Jacob Fasting and the Danish architect Kirsten Krogh started importing a redesign of a 1950s chair from Mexico City. The chair is sold through well-known design dealers like Norman Design, Illum department store and Design Delicatessen. After a few years, the company grew and is now selling its own designs produced with local partners from Mexico and Egypt. OK Design sells its products through local dealers all over Europe, Turkey, Egypt and Lebanon. Now the company wants to go a step further.
The project task is to create a campaign that promotes OK Design outside Europe by telling the story about OK Design and its products to potential new partners, dealers and customers. The campaign will have its own website and related marketing materials that give information and direct readers to the company’s Facebook page (http://www.facebook.com/OKDesign.dk) and official website (http://www.okdesign.dk). The purpose of the campaign is to contribute to the visibility of the company and its products; attract new potential partners, dealers and customers; and generate more traffic to the company’s online platforms, thus increasing new business opportunities.
Based on your overall strategy you must develop a strong campaign. The target country for the campaign must be your own home country, the country of a group member or another country outside Europe. Visually, the campaign must be related to the existing visual identity of OK Design. Conceptually, the campaign must be related to the ideas and stories of the company and its employees. You must adjust the campaign to match the demands of your selected national market. Your concept and product must be consistent so that all elements in the campaign are related and connected.
